There are few things sweeter after a hard days Hydro Derbying than letting it all hang out at the Apres Derby Hydro Gala. Here’s how to get up to get down!
The 2011 Hydro Gala festivities will be kicking off immediately following the cessation of the Hydro Derby’s competitive window. As teams cross the finish line at The Boathouse, Palm Beach, and submit their score sheets to the Board of Competition Stewards there will be an uncoordinated and, lets face it, inebriated movement to the Hydro Derby HQ (Pittwater Branch) some 7km down the road.
Lounging on a north facing hillside the Hydro Derby HQ (Pittwater Branch) will accommodate teams and their supporters across three terraces that overlook the Hydro Arena, with a plunge pool / live catch tank available for teams looking to keep things fresh and BBQ facilities for preparing your days catch.

The Board of Competition Stewards will process team score sheets and verify catch and derbycan data at Hydro Derby HQ (Pittwater Branch) with the intent of holding the 2011 Pittwater Hydro Derby Summer Invitational Awards Ceremony for the Pittwater Perpetual Pail as soon as possible so we can all focus on the important business of canning on and engaging in all manner of revelry and fraternizing.
