HDIV Team Profile: Pussy Power

With just one week until Hydro-Derby eve the 7^th official team has used all of its feminine wiles and clawed their way into HDIV.

Pussy Power is the first all female team in Hydro-Derby history. For several of the team members this won’t be their first rodeo, however in 2013 they’ve elected to drop the dead weight they’ve previously carried through competition and go it alone. The Hydro-Derby has a proud history of women doing the heavy lifting, from Liselle’s spectacular Leather Jacket catch back in 2009, to the super human wrangling of two spectacularly drunk and vomit covered whales in the 2011 edition, it’s the usually the girls that have been catching the fish AND making sure the tinnie stays afloat.

With the expected entry of a second all girls team from south of the boarder could we see a girl on girl show down for the Perpetual Pittwater Pail and eternal Hydro-Glory? Who will the fifteen other women competing on the Hydro-Arena come Jan 19^th be rooting for?

Team Pussy Power is captained by the ever experience Nads, and backed up by her trusty crew of Mary, Kirsten and Burrito. You’d be well advised to keep an eye on them for the title, who knows how the scoring matrix will deal with a sub 250kg crew! One Stoli each with a 2 can Bream in the net and they could just have this in the bag! The only question left is who will ride the front of the Challenger a la Vanishing Point & Death Proof?
